A new international airport in West-Sydney has received its first flight from Auckland via Air New Zealand. This opening follows more than forty years of preparation. The facility aims to reduce pressure on the existing airport. It provides new connections for over 2.5 million residents of the area.
Na ruim veertig jaar voorbereiding heeft de nieuwe luchthaven in West-Sydney haar eerste internationale vlucht ontvangen. Een vliegtuig van Air New Zealand landde vanuit Auckland.
