Singapore has previously issued notices under the Transboundary Haze Pollution Act. These notices were sent to 10 companies based in Singapore. An additional 10 firms based in Indonesia also received notices. Grace Fu indicated that the government is looking to strengthen haze laws. There may be amendments to the legislation to address gaps in enforcement.
