The Hungarian railway operator announced a budget increase of 50 billion forints for railway infrastructure renovation next year. The additional funds will be added to MÁV’s own investment programme. At the same time, the Baross Gábor Railway Development Plan will commence implementation. The combined financing aims to modernise tracks and related facilities.
