Informer na udaru: Stiže službeni zahtjev za zabranu
The Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia plans to file an official request with the Electronic Media Regulator. The request will ask the regulator to revoke the broadcasting licence of the television channel Informer. Informer is known for openly supporting the Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić. The outlet has long been criticized for its reporting style towards political opponents of the president. The journalists’ group argues that the channel’s coverage breaches media standards. If the regulator approves the petition, Informer could be forced off the air.
