Olympic champion Ester Ledecká added an unusual chapter to her pre-season preparation in Chile. She left the snowy slopes behind and boarded a helicopter for a trip away from the mountains. The flight carried her toward the coast of the Pacific Ocean, a striking change of scenery from the pistes. The outing was described as a way to liven up her training block ahead of the season.
