Social Democrat deputy Boris Mugosha claims the Montenegro government only partially applied the legal mechanism for reducing excise duties. He argues that fuel prices are not dropping as much as they could have. According to Mugosha, gasoline would be 30 cents cheaper if the law were fully implemented. Diesel would have decreased by 15 cents under the same conditions. The price reductions taking effect today are smaller than possible due to this partial implementation.
