During the Tihar festival, around 5.2 million flower garlands are expected to be sold, and about 200,000 garlands of marigolds are being shipped abroad. According to the report, flower production and market activity have been expanding every year. This growth has significantly raised the incomes of farmers and flower traders and has helped substitute imports.
