President Cyril Ramaphosa authorized the deployment of 510 SANDF members to KwaZulu-Natal. These personnel will be stationed from October 9 to November 30, 2026. Their primary role is to assist the police during planned marches. The deployment aims to manage possible unrest related to anti-immigration protests.
