Burkina : Plus de 106 000 femmes enceintes ont bénéficié des suppléments de micronutriments multiples
A project to introduce and expand multiple micronutrient supplements in Burkina Faso has reported its results. The initiative aimed to reach 134,039 pregnant women. A total of 106,023 women received these supplements for the first time, meeting 79.1% of the target. These findings were presented on October 27, 2026, during a workshop in Ouagadougou. The program lasted approximately twenty-four months. It was led by the ALIMA-Keoogo-SOS Médecins BF Alliance and the ministry of health.
Elles étaient 134 039 femmes enceintes à atteindre. Elles ont été 106 023 à recevoir, pour la première fois, des suppléments de micronutriments multiples (MMS), soit 79,1 % de l'objectif. Tel est le principal résultat du projet « Introduire et étendre la MMS au Burkina Faso », présenté mardi 27 octobre 2026 à Ouagadougou lors d'un atelier de capitalisation, après environ vingt-quatre mois de mise en œuvre.
