The special task force for upstream oil and gas business activities targets 2029 for the start of production at the Abadi Masela LNG project. The project has an investment value of approximately 22 billion USD. It is designed to produce 9.5 million tons of LNG per year.
Satuan Kerja Khusus Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (SKK Migas) menargetkan proyek LNG Abadi Blok Masela dapat mulai berproduksi pada 2029. Proyek dengan nilai investasi sekitar USD22 miliar tersebut dirancang menghasilkan LNG sebanyak 9,5 juta ton per tahun.
