The disappearance of two Lithuanian travelers in war‑torn Iran is becoming increasingly confusing. Two weeks after the women vanished, one hypothesis claimed they were locked inside a house in the desert. A guide who accompanied them alleged that they were detained because their conduct was considered unacceptable to Muslims and were held in a hotel. The sister of the missing woman called that version a manipulation. She insists that the women are already being kept in a facility that resembles a prison. The story was featured in a TV3 news report, which provided further details.
