Sali Berisha, the chairman of the Democratic Party, has accused the government of increasing the fiscal burden on Albanian businesses. He warned that these changes could lead to bankruptcies and the loss of jobs. In a video message, Berisha stated that the proposed package includes raising the dividend tax from 8% to 15%. He also mentioned an increase in profit tax.
