Parliament has approved the creation of 30 ministries!
Parliament approved a proposal from President Hakainde Hichilema to increase the number of government ministries. The count will rise from 24 to 30. Vice-President Mutale Nalumango moved the motion on Tuesday. This action was taken under Article 92(2)(d) of the Constitution. The restructuring creates separate ministries for Petroleum and Electricity as well as Trade.
