Several public institutions in the Republic of Moldova use video surveillance systems based on Russian Trassir software. These institutions include the Chișinău International Airport and the Public Services Agency. Some of these systems have been in use for several years. The institutions claim they took measures to prevent collected data and images from reaching the manufacturer.
