Angolan opposition parties are organising a national conference on the electoral process ahead of the 2027 elections. The gathering is set for 29 and 30 September 2026 in Luanda and brings together groups in the Encontro de Unidade para a Alternância Democrática platform, including the Bloco Democrático, PDP-ANA, PNSA and PPA. It will run under the motto 'Por um Sistema Eleitoral Transparente', which translates as 'For a Transparent Electoral System'. Organisers want to push for cleaner, more credible elections as the country moves toward the vote.
