Fiorentina have sacked coach Fabio Grosso with the club sitting at the bottom of the table. The dismissal came right after Saturday's home game against Torino, when Portuguese internationals Pedro Gonçalves and Beto made their debuts for the Viola. Torino, for their part, started Daniel Bragança in the same match. The coaching change lands just as the club's new Portuguese signings were settling in.
