Ireland is officially closing a rainy-day fund that has existed for 103 years. Government ministers are expected to approve an additional 1 billion euros for the Future Ireland Fund during a Cabinet meeting today.

Meanwhile, government ministers are set to sign off on adding an extra €1billion to the Future Ireland Fund at today’s Cabinet meeting.
