The government approved a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. This agreement creates a Bilateral Consultation Mechanism. Secretary of State for Social Communication Expedito Dias Ximenes stated that Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Jesuína Maria Ferreira Gomes is mandated to sign the document.
