The Chief Service Ethics Commission, known as VTEK, announced on Wednesday that it will not open an investigation into the hiring of Ilma Paluckė at a district health clinic in Vilnius. Ilma Paluckė is the spouse of former premier Gintautas Paluckas. By declining to proceed, the commission indicated that the matter will not be examined further.
