Funding for the infrastructure of free economic zones, industrial parks, and state investment plots is proposed to double. Waldemaras Urbanas, the vice minister of economy and innovation, stated that current infrastructure does not meet investor needs. He noted that development has lagged behind actual demand during a meeting of the Seimas Committee on Economics and Innovation.
