A ceasefire in a devastated Ukrainian city has lasted for 30 hours. Officials are monitoring the situation. If the truce continues, it will be the first significant ceasefire since the invasion began more than four and a half years ago.
If the ceasefire holds, it will be the first time since Russia’s invasion of its neighbour more than 4 ½ years ago that the two sides have observed a significant truce.
