Virginijus Sinkevičius: demokratai už dabartinį biudžeto projektą nebalsuos
Virginijus Sinkevičius, who leads the Democratic Union 'For Lithuania', said his political group will not support the current 2027 state budget proposal presented to parliament. He criticized the Ministry of Finance for not doing enough to reduce the projected deficit. According to him, the ministry must present a detailed plan for balancing the state’s finances. When asked whether his party would vote for the budget, he responded, 'Not today.' Sinkevičius emphasized the need for greater effort to shrink the expected shortfall. His comments suggest the opposition will oppose the budget unless revisions are made.
Demokratų sąjungos „Vardan Lietuvos“ lyderis Virginijus Sinkevičius teigia, kad jo vadovaujama politinė jėga nepalaikys šiuo metu Seimui pateikto 2027 metų valstybės biudžeto projekto. Pasak jo, Finansų ministerija turi dėti daugiau pastangų mažindama numatomą biudžeto deficitą ir pateikti išsamų planą, kaip ketinama subalansuoti valstybės finansus. „Šiai dienai – ne“, – paklaustas, ar demokratai balsuos už dabartinį biudžeto projektą, trečiadienį žurnalistams atsakė V. Sinkevičius.
