The World Bank approved a financing package worth 485 million dollars. Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said the money will support the green and digital transformation of industry. Under the project, Turkish Eximbank will receive 242.5 million dollars and VakıfBank will receive an equal amount. The funds are intended to back projects that reduce emissions and adopt new technologies. Simsek presented the allocation as a step toward modernising the manufacturing sector.
