Thirty-two‑year‑old Tống Trường Vũ pretended to be a customer interested in buying beer. He then drew a knife and forced the shop owner of a small grocery store to comply. With the weapon he stole a chain and several gold bracelets. Bystanders intervened and detained him. The incident occurred at midday on 28 October. Police were called after the citizens handed him over.
