Stan Wawrinka has retired from competitive activity. The 41-year-old Swiss champion was defeated by Jiri Lehecka in the first round of the ATP 500 tournament in Basel. Lehecka won the match with scores of 5-7 and 6-7/2. Wawrinka will travel to Bucharest on December 12. He is scheduled to play two exhibition matches there.
Învins de cehul Jiri Lehecka (5-7, 6-7/2), în primul tur al turneului ATP 500 de la Basel, Stan Wawrinka (41 de ani) s-a retras din activitatea competițională. În 12 decembrie, campionul elvețian va veni la București pentru a disputa două meciuri demonstrative.
