Ali Motahari said that if Iranians are to face economic pressure from a naval blockade, people in the region should also share that burden. He argued Iran cannot be kept under prolonged pressure in West Asia without reason and merely because of US and Israeli whim, becoming a kind of second Gaza while others remain comfortable. His remarks were presented as a prediction about another US war against Iran.
