The number of new retirees fell by half between January and September. During this period, 151,707 benefits were granted. This figure represents a 43% decrease compared to 2025 and a 52% decrease compared to 2024. For the first time in years, most new retirements occurred without the use of a moratorium. In four out of ten cases, people used a specific plan because they lacked sufficient contributions.
