A High Court in Kuala Lumpur upheld the conviction and sentence for Lee Koon Huat. He is a former advisor to the Board of Directors of Axis Incorporation Bhd. The court maintained a six-month prison sentence and a fine of RM800,000. This relates to four charges of conspiring to submit false financial statements to Bursa Malaysia.
KUALA LUMPUR: Mahkamah Tinggi, di sini hari ini mengekalkan sabitan dan hukuman penjara enam bulan serta denda RM800,000 bagi empat pertuduhan terhadap bekas penasihat Lembaga Pengarah Axis Incorporation Bhd, Lee Koon Huat kerana bersubahat mengemukakan penyata kewangan palsu kepada Bursa Malaysia.
