A lawyer filed a request with the High Court to release a 20-year-old policeman. The Guyana Police Force accused the officer of leaking surveillance video to Opposition Leader Azruddin Mohamed. This leak allegedly happened in exchange for 800,000 GY$. The request for release was filed by the officer's father.
