The General Assembly passed a resolution against the embargo on Cuba for the 34th consecutive year. The vote counted 130 in favor, 17 against, and 25 abstentions. Montenegro chose to abstain from the vote. This represents the lowest level of support since 1992. These results follow a campaign by Washington to influence the voting outcome.
