The total fertility rate in the country continues to fall. In 2024, the rate was 1.6 children for every woman between 15 and 49 years old. This figure remains below the level needed for population replacement.
KUALA LUMPUR: Kadar Kesuburan Jumlah (TFR) negara ini terus berada di bawah paras penggantian penduduk, apabila merekodkan 1.6 anak bagi setiap wanita berumur 15 hingga 49 tahun pada 2024.
