Nuevo León reporta 140 mil millones de dólares en inversión extranjera; 92% de sus exportaciones se realizan bajo el marco del T-MEC
Nuevo León announced that it has attracted foreign investment totaling 140 billion dollars. The region’s export activity is largely linked to the United States‑Mexico‑Canada Agreement, with 92 percent of shipments covered by that framework. The state governor explained that his administration is working to raise the volume of commercial crossings through the Colombia customs post. Officials plan to achieve this by implementing additional security measures at the border. Joint inspections between the two countries are also being organized to streamline trade. The strategy aims to boost economic activity while maintaining control over customs procedures. By focusing on both security and cooperation, the government hopes to make the corridor a more attractive route for exporters.
