The SAM Organization for Rights and Freedoms issued an urgent distress call, urging the international community, the United Nations and humanitarian organizations to intervene immediately. It called for pressure on the Houthi militia to stop intensive shelling and violations against civilians in the Kahalan area of Sabr al-Mawadim district and the Daba front in the Al-Aqroud area of Taiz governorate. The organization warned that Kahalan could turn into a disaster-stricken area.
