This decline is affecting the water supply for the Administrative Posts of Vikeke Vila, Ossú, and Lakluta. The coordinator for the agency in Vikeke, Marito da Costa, attributed the issue to a prolonged drought. Because the water resources are diminishing, the quantity available for distribution has been impacted. The agency is responding by reducing the hours of water distribution to the affected areas.
