More than 281,000 people in Yemen have left their homes since the start of August because of military actions. More than half of them found shelter in Taiz province, according to a UN OCHA statement. The statement said three-quarters of the displaced people are in places with acute shortages of housing, clean water and sanitation.
"Более половины из них нашли убежище в провинции Таиз. Три четверти вынужденных переселенцев "находятся в местах, где ощущается острая нехватка жилья, чистой воды и санитарных условий", - сказано в заявлении УКГВ ООН.
