Sudanese novelist Abdel Aziz Baraka Sakin arrived in Khartoum yesterday to join the committee preparing the Sudanese dialogue, at a time when the country is looking for a way out of its crisis. His participation raises a question about what dialogue means: whether sitting together is enough to reach understanding, or whether the divisions created by war experiences require something deeper.
