Tunisia is preparing to build a highway connecting Bou Salem in the Jendouba governorate to the Algerian border. Land preparation has begun for a 40-kilometer section between Bou Salem and Fernana. The overall project includes a final 35-kilometer stretch leading to the border crossing.
