Western Cape Mobility MEC Isaac Sileku warned CATA and CODETA regarding taxi-related shootings in Cape Town. He stated that action could follow if these violent incidents do not stop. Shootings recently occurred at the Delft taxi rank and on the R300. The department plans to meet with the two associations and Santaco to address the situation.
