Kalina was 31 years old and pregnant with her second child. After a routine gynecological procedure at the hospital on Madalińskiego Street in Warsaw, she was moved to intensive care. She died there ten days later. Gazeta Wyborcza investigated and established what happened at the hospital in early October this year. All 14 anesthesia columns at the hospital were switched off. The stated reason was that the columns posed a threat to the life and health of patients and staff.
Kalina miała 31 lat i była w ciąży z drugim dzieckiem. Po rutynowym zabiegu ginekologicznym w szpitalu przy ul. Madalińskiego w Warszawie trafiła na oddział intensywnej terapii. Zmarła po dziesięciu dniach. Jak ustaliła "Gazeta Wyborcza", na początku października br., w szpitalu wyłączono wszystkie 14 kolumn anestezjologicznych. Powód? Stanowią "zagrożenie dla życia i zdrowia pacjentów oraz personelu".
