Government spokesperson Arenas stated that the administration is facing a serious crisis. He admitted that official party members are not fully aligned regarding an imminent constitutional accusation against Rabat. Arenas spoke with the leaders of three parties, including Guillermo Ramírez, Arturo Squella, and Andrea Balladares. After reviewing the current atmosphere, these leaders told him the situation is difficult.
"Apenas terminó la sesión, yo hablé con los presidentes de los tres partidos, con Guillermo Ramírez (UDI), con Arturo Squella (republicanos) y con la senadora Andrea Balladares (RN). Hicimos un recuento más o menos de cómo se veía el ambiente y me dijeron que está difícil”, reveló el vocero de gobierno.
