The Naval Forces of the Lithuanian Armed Forces are buying a new multipurpose vessel. This ship will be used for search and rescue as well as the removal of pollutants. The purchase agreement was signed on Thursday at the Ministry of National Defence. The contract was made with the Dutch company Damen Workboats B.V. The vessel is valued at nearly 50 million euros.
Lietuvos kariuomenės Karinės jūrų pajėgos įsigis naują, beveik 50 mln. eurų vertės daugiafunkcį teršalų likvidavimo, paieškos ir gelbėjimo laivą. Ketvirtadienį Krašto apsaugos ministerijoje (KAM) su Nyderlandų bendrove „Damen Workboats B.V.“ pasirašyta pirkimo sutartis.
