A ceasefire went into effect at the beginning of this week in the city of Oleshky. The city is located in the southern Kherson region of Ukraine and is currently occupied by Russia. It sits near the front line. The pause in fighting is being used to prepare for the evacuation of civilian residents. Efforts are also underway to deliver food and medicine to the area.
