Samuel Nartey George has been appointed as the Chairperson of the African Union’s Specialised Technical Committee on Communication and Information and Communications Technology. He serves as Ghana’s Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations. The decision to appoint him to this role was unanimous. His term is scheduled to last for two years. This appointment will officially begin in October 2026.
