Fachin determina arquivamento de cinco investigações ligadas ao inquérito das fake news
Minister Edson Fachin, the president of the Supreme Federal Court, ordered the closure of five investigations tied to the fake news inquiry. This larger inquiry began in 2019 to investigate fraudulent news and threats against the court, its ministers, and their families. The decision follows requests from the Prosecutor General's Office. That office claimed there was no evidence of crimes or that the cases had expired.
