Prime Minister Vasile Tofan announced that Energocom successfully tested a mechanism for purchasing gas from the Ukrainian market. Energocom gained access to the Ukrainian exchange. The company bought an initial 2 million cubic meters of gas. This gas was purchased at a lower price than on the TTF spot market. The Prime Minister described the volume as small but noted the importance of the mechanism.
