Astronomers have found a potential dwarf planet on the outer edges of the Solar System. The object is located beyond the orbit of Pluto and is currently called ED138. It may eventually be added to the group of five officially recognized dwarf planets. This discovery was made using an advanced telescope at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory.
