A junior officer identified as First Lieutenant AG is a suspect in the death of First Lieutenant Jihad. The suspect is a member of the 2025 Military Academy class and serves in Group 2 of Kopassus Kandang Menjangan. According to Colonel Inf Indra Mardianto, the head of Kopassus public relations, the incident involved a pistol. The suspect allegedly failed to follow proper procedures when using the weapon. This negligence led to the gun firing and hitting the victim.
