Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, criticized claims made in a joint statement by Abu Dhabi and Ottawa. He described these claims regarding the Abu Musa and Tunb islands as interference. Baghaei stated that such assertions do not change the legal, historical, or geographical realities of the region. Iran considers these islands to be an inseparable part of its territory.
