The UN General Assembly passed a resolution calling for the end of the American embargo against Cuba on October 28. The vote ended with 130 in favor, 17 against, and 25 abstentions. This is a decrease from the previous year when the text received 165 votes in favor. The resolution lost 35 favorable votes over one year.
