Maya Gebala has been released from the hospital. This comes 262 days after a shooting in Tumbler Ridge. Her relative, David Gebala, noted that medical staff previously believed she would not survive the night.
"262 days since we were told, “We did everything we could, but we don’t think she’s going to make it through the night'," David Gebala wrote on Thursday.
